Leaving and switching workspaces

If you belong to more than one organization on Tobren Operations, this page covers moving between them and leaving one for good.

Switching workspaces

If you’re a member of more than one workspace — or have an invite still waiting for you — a Switch workspace control appears at the bottom of the sidebar, showing the active workspace’s name. Open it to see every workspace you belong to, with your role in each, and pick one to make it active.

If you belong to only one workspace and have no pending invites, this control doesn’t show — there’s nothing to switch between yet.

A workspace you’ve been invited to but haven’t accepted shows up in the same list under Waiting for you to accept. It isn’t clickable from there — accepting happens from the invite email, the same way described in Account & security.

Leaving a workspace

From Settings → Your profile, use Leave this workspace. This ends your own membership — it isn’t something an admin does to you, and there’s no separate remove step: you leave the same way you’d leave any organization you belong to.

Leaving:

  • Stops you seeing that workspace’s schedule, crew, and records.
  • Keeps your flight logs with the organization — they’re the org’s compliance record, not yours to take with you.
  • Isn’t self-serve to undo. To come back later, you need a new invite from someone still in the workspace.

Two checks run before a leave goes through:

You’re scheduled on upcoming flights. Leaving doesn’t unassign you from anything — it can’t, since nobody else is confirmed in your place. Instead you’re shown how many flights you’re on and when the next one is, and asked to confirm. If you go ahead, the workspace sees those flights as needing crew.

You’re the only owner. If you’re the sole owner of the workspace, you can’t leave until someone else is made an owner too — there’d be no one left who can pay for the subscription or manage it. Make another member an owner from Settings → Team first, then leave.
