Settings reference
Settings has a left-hand list of sections (a dropdown on a phone). Each section is also reachable by its link, so you can bookmark one. Sections that depend on a module are hidden while that module is off. Where a control is disabled, hovering it gives the reason (“Admins only”, “Owners only”).
| Section | What it controls | Who can change it |
|---|---|---|
| Organization | Name, workspace slug, address, logo, Part 107 waiver number. Also the owner’s Delete this organization and its data request. | Admin (deletion request: Account owner) |
| Your profile | Your own contact details, your certification on file (changes go through review), and Leave this workspace. | You |
| Email sender | The display name and reply-to on quotes, invoices and report links you email to clients, and optionally your own mail server. Tobren’s own mail (sign-in codes, billing, alerts) never uses it. | Admin |
| Modules | Turn Scheduling, Events and Commercial on or off. Hiding never deletes anything. | Admin or Account owner |
| Notifications | Which alert types generate email and push. | Account owner, Admin |
| Operations | Operational toggles. Today: Part 107.35 waiver on file, which suppresses the duplicate-pilot-in-command warning when starting multi-aircraft event flights. Only enable it if you hold that waiver. | Admin |
| Weather minima | Your §107.49 go/no-go limits: maximum wind and gust (kt), minimum ceiling (ft AGL) and visibility (sm). Each can be “No limit set”, which is different from a limit of 0. A filed flight log that exceeds one raises an alert. | Admin |
| Flight recency | Two informational marks (days since a pilot’s last flight with you). See Part 107 currency. | Admin |
| LAANC provider | The LAANC provider your workspace uses: pick one from the FAA’s published list, or choose Other and enter its name and web address (must start with https://). The Map’s point panel and a flight’s airspace authorization section link straight to it. Tobren does not request authorization itself. |
Admin |
| Battery threshold | The minimum battery capacity your fleet allows in service. It is saved as policy; nothing is compared against it yet. | Admin |
| Storage | Document storage used against your plan. | View |
| Your data | Export your logbook and, for admins and the owner, registers and the whole workspace. See Privacy & your data. | Everyone (more for admins/owner) |
| Billing | Plan, card, cancellation, receipts. See Plans & billing. | Account owner |
| Team | Who can sign in and their roles, and Transfer ownership. Roles and schedule visibility themselves are changed on the crew member’s page. See Crew & roles. | Account owner (transfer) |
| Security | Require two-factor for every member. See Account & security. | Admin |
| Credential review | The queue of certification updates your crew submitted. See Part 107 currency. | Admin |
| Activity log | Who changed which record. A link to the full log page (day-grouped, filterable). | Admin |
| Waivers | Your Part 107 waiver registry (type, number, expiry). Tobren watches the expiry dates and alerts you. | Admin |
| Documents | Organization-wide documents. See Documents. | Member to upload |
| Custom domain | Your own web address. See Your own web address. | Account owner |
| Calendar feeds | Subscribable .ics links. See The schedule board. |
Anyone for their own; Admin for org-wide |
| Airdata sync | Connect an Airdata account so its flights appear automatically (hourly). See Imports & migration. | Admin |
When it fails
Section titled “When it fails”Each section loads on its own: a section that can’t load says so and offers a retry, and the rest of Settings keeps working. A save that is refused tells you why (a role floor, a limit, or a suspended workspace, which can’t save changes).
