Tobren Operations docs

Schedule flights, log them to a compliance-ready record, run your pre-flight checklists, and keep your fleet and crew organized — built by an operator, for operators.

Welcome

Tobren Operations is how a commercial drone operator runs day-to-day flying: schedule a flight, fly it, log what actually happened, and keep the compliance record audit-ready — without a separate spreadsheet or logbook app.

Start here

  • Getting started — create your workspace, sign in, and choose which parts of the product you want turned on.
  • The dashboard — the first screen after sign-in: the setup checklist while you need it, your fleet at a glance once you don’t.

Fly & log

  • The schedule board — plan flights on a day/week/month calendar and see your fleet’s day at a glance.
  • Flight logs — log a flight (by hand or by importing a CSV), file it as the compliance record, and amend it later if something needs a correction.
  • Checklists — reusable pre-flight and inspection templates your crew runs and signs off, in context, without hunting for a form.

Crew & events

  • Crew & roles — invite your team, see what each role can do, and control who sees the whole schedule versus just their own assignments.
  • Events — the container for a multi-aircraft show or job: reserve airframes, assign crew, and start every flight at once.

Fleet & maintenance

  • Fleet — register aircraft, record NDAA/Blue UAS provenance, ground and return airframes, check availability, and share an airframe with another organization.
  • Maintenance — track what each airframe is due for on flight-hour or calendar intervals, and record service against it.

Compliance

  • Compliance reports — the audit-ready snapshot: generate it by fleet, aircraft, crew, group or client, then share it as a PDF or a public link.
  • Part 107 currency — §107.65 knowledge recency and your own flight-recency policy, tracked apart and labeled honestly.
  • Alerts — what needs attention right now, and who hears about it.
  • Documents — insurance, certificates and waivers on file, with expiry dates that surface before they bite.

Business

  • Jobs — the paid work everything else hangs off.
  • Clients — who the work is for, and everything you’ve done for them.
  • Quotes & invoices — quote it, get it accepted online, invoice it, record what you’re paid.
  • Analytics — revenue by job, aircraft and client.

Account & help

  • Account & security — two-factor authentication, recovery codes, and accepting a crew invite.
  • Plans & billing — what each plan includes, the 14-day trial, and how limits behave.
  • Privacy & your data — who can see what, how share links work, and how to get your records out.
  • Your own web address — point a domain you own at your workspace: the three DNS records, and what each status means.
  • FAQ & troubleshooting — greyed-out buttons, plan limits, and the other things that stop people mid-task.

Every module below the always-on compliance floor — Scheduling, Events, and the commercial (jobs/quotes/invoices) tools — can be turned off in Settings → Modules if you don’t need it. Turning a module off only hides its nav entries; nothing is deleted, and turning it back on restores everything exactly as you left it.
