Clients

A client is who the work is for. The record holds their contact and billing details, and gathers everything you’ve done for them in one place.

Find it under Clients in the nav.

Clients is part of the Commercial module — see Jobs.

Adding a client

Add a client inline from the Clients page with a name (the only required field) plus an optional contact name, email and phone. You can also create one without leaving whatever you’re doing: the client picker offers the same inline create wherever it appears — creating a job, a quote or an invoice.

Billing details

A client’s detail page holds the CRM fields you need at invoicing time:

  • Relationship status — Prospect, Active, Inactive, or Archived.
  • Billing contact name and billing email.
  • Billing address.
  • Billing terms and payment terms (days).
  • Tax ID.
  • Notes — your own engagement notes. These are never shown to the client.

Editing any of this needs at least a Member role. Tax ID and payment terms are financial fields and aren’t shown to a Viewer at all.

Engagement history

The client detail page shows what you’ve actually done for them, assembled from records you already keep rather than typed in a second time:

  • their jobs, with status
  • their quotes and invoices, with status
  • their scheduled flights and flight logs
  • counts and the last activity date

It’s the answer to “what’s our history with these people” without opening four tabs.

Clients and compliance

A client is also a compliance report scope: generate a client-scope report to hand over the flights, aircraft, crew and documents behind their work. That’s the one to send when a client’s own insurer asks what you flew for them.
