Compliance reports
A compliance report is the “audit-ready in one click” part of Tobren Operations: a snapshot of what your operation looks like right now, assembled from the records you already keep — flight logs, maintenance items, crew currency, and active alerts.
Find it under Compliance in the nav.
Choosing a scope
Click Generate report and pick what the report should cover:
| Scope | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Fleet | Your whole operation — every aircraft you have access to, with its maintenance rollup, plus active alerts and your active crew count. |
| Aircraft | One airframe in detail: its maintenance items, recent filed flights, and the alerts against it. |
| Crew | One crew member: their Part 107 details, currency, and recent filed flights. |
| Group | One aircraft group, presented as a fleet summary of just that group’s airframes. |
| Client | One client’s engagement — the flights, aircraft and crew involved in their work, and the documents linked to it. |
Aircraft, Crew, Group and Client scopes ask you to pick which one before the Generate button becomes available.
What’s in a report
A report is generated fresh every time it’s opened — it is a live snapshot, not a stored copy of numbers from the day you made it. There is no date-range picker: a report describes the current state of the operation, with recent flight history attached as evidence.
Depending on scope, a report carries:
- Aircraft — registration, nickname, model, serial number, total flight hours, and the NDAA / Blue UAS provenance declaration recorded for that airframe.
- Maintenance — each tracked item with its interval, its last service, and whether it’s OK, due soon, or overdue. See Maintenance.
- Recent flights — filed flight logs with times, location and purpose, plus any incidents or attachments linked to them as evidence. Drafts never appear: only filed logs count toward a report.
- Crew currency — for a crew-scope report, the §107.65 knowledge-recency date the product derived, not one somebody typed in.
- Active alerts — whatever is currently outstanding. See Alerts.
A fleet or group report also carries an overall status: critical if anything is
overdue or a critical alert is open, attention for due-soon items or warnings,
otherwise ok.
The on-screen report is always free
Generating a report and reading it in the app costs nothing, on every plan, and it is never degraded or watermarked into uselessness to push an upgrade.
What sits behind a paid plan is the artifacts of a report — the three things you’d hand to somebody else:
- the branded PDF,
- the public share link,
- email delivery to a recipient.
If you’re on a paid plan, all three are included with no per-report charge. On the free plan you can unlock those three for one specific report by buying its audit pack — a one-time purchase, priced in-app on the report itself. Buying one unlocks that report permanently; it does not convert you to a subscription.
Sharing a report
Once a report’s artifacts are unlocked, three actions become available on it:
- Download PDF — the branded PDF, rendered by Tobren Operations itself.
- Copy public link — a link anyone can open without a Tobren account.
- Email report — type a recipient’s address and send it directly from the report.
The public link opens a read-only view of the same report, with its own PDF download. The recipient sees the report and nothing else — no login, no access to your workspace.
A public share link does not expire. Treat it like an unlisted URL: anyone you send it to can forward it, and anyone holding it can open the report. Only share it with the auditor, client or insurer it was generated for.
Who can generate and read reports
Generating a report, emailing one, and buying an audit pack all require at least Member — a Viewer can read reports but not create or send them.
Reports also respect schedule visibility: a crew member restricted to own assignments only cannot read a report whose contents would show them the flights they aren’t on. See Crew & roles.
