Checklists
Checklists are reusable templates your crew runs and signs off — pre-flight inspections, inventory scans, packing lists, and anything else that recurs across a shoot or a show. Find them under Checklists in the nav.
Templates
Two kinds of template live side by side:
- System defaults — platform-shipped templates (a pre-flight inspection, and inventory scan-in/scan-out) that are ready to run without any setup.
- Your templates — templates your organization authors, like a packing list or a custom prep step. These are fully editable and deletable; the system defaults are read-only but always runnable.
Every template is scoped to where it applies: per event (a packing list for the whole show), per airframe per event (a prep step for one aircraft), or per sortie (a battery swap or post-flight check that repeats every time an aircraft flies again).
Running a checklist
Checklists run in context — from an event or an aircraft, rather than by hunting down a form and pasting in an ID. Opening a checklist shows its items as checkboxes; a Check all control lets you tick every item in one action (and a Clear all to undo it), and submitting records who ran it and when.
Phases
A checklist can be tied to a phase of a flight — a full pre-flight inspection before the first launch, a lighter interim check before each battery swap or relaunch, and a post-flight check after the last landing. The interim check re-arms after each landing, since a real event flies the same airframe more than once.
